Rules and Standards

As a Pro-Internships participant you agree to:

1. Comply with Pro-Internships' rules and regulations, as well as the rules and regulations of the host companies, organizations, and institutions.

2. Obey all local, state and federal laws of the United States of America. It is your responsibility to ensure that you know and understand these laws. Furthermore, you agree not to use or possess any illegal drugs or attempt to use, purchase, or smuggle any illegal drugs or offensive weapons during your stay in the United States.

3. You will show respect for your host company’s rules, regulations, customs, and wishes.

4. You will secure and maintain all necessary visa and travel documents needed for travel to the United States.

Reservation of Rights

Pro-Internships, llc will endeavor to adhere to all arrangements made, however reserves the right to cancel or alter any part(s) of the program should unforeseen circumstances or situation make this advisable.

It is also understood that neither party will be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from any cause beyond their control, including, without limitation: war, strikes, labor disputes, civil disturbances, fire, natural disaster, or Acts of God.

Assignment of Rights & Obligations

Neither party shall assign or transfer its rights or delegate its obligations and responsibilities under this Agreement without the express written consent of the other party. Any attempted assignment, transfer, or delegation without such consent shall be considered void.

Waiver

Failure by either party to exercise or enforce any right conferred by the terms and conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights, nor operate as to bar the exercise of enforcement thereof or of any other right on any later occasion.

Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms & Conditions as well as the Program Registration Form constitute the entire understanding between both parties. These documents supersede any other oral or in writing understanding between both parties. In the event that any term or provision is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions of the Agreement which it evidences shall remain in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Broward County in the State of Florida, USA. The participant agrees to personal jurisdiction by courts sitting in the city of Hallandale, Florida, USA.

General Release

You acknowledge that your electronic submissions constitute your agreement and intent to participate in the program provided by Pro-Internships, llc and your participation is entirely voluntary and that any program involving travel includes some element of risk. You agree to assume the risk in recognition and appreciation of the dangers, hazards, and risks of living and working in the United States of America. You agree that you, your parents, guardians, and/or next of kin, shall not attempt to hold Pro-Internships, llc, its officers, employees, representatives, or agents liable for damages resulting from any injury, death, or loss to person or property arising out of or relating to participation in this program. You also understand that Pro-Internships, llc is not responsible for maintaining your legal visa status in the United States of America.

Internship/Professional Training Programs

Financial Obligations

1. I agree to the total program fees indicated on page "Prices" of the website Pro-Internships.com.

2. I agree to pay a 25% down payment of the total program fees upon receipt of invoice before Pro-Internships, llc will secure my program placement.

3. I agree to pay any and all remaining program fees upon confirmation of my internship and receipt of the final invoice from Pro-Internships, llc.

4. I agree to discharge all indebtedness or obligations before departure, or at any other specified date according to any prior written and signed arrangements made with Pro-Internships, llc.

5. I agree to release, waive and discharge Pro-Internships, llc, its officers, employees, representatives and agents from all liability for any and all loss or damage on account of injury to myself or others, damage to personal property or the property of others arising out of or relating to participation in the program.

Internship Placement

1. I understand that no reassignment to a new host company or change in preferences will be made once I have confirmed acceptance of an internship by signing the Internship Agreement between myself and the host company.

2. I understand that I am responsible to ensure that the preferences and information I have provided on the Program Registration Form are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

3. I understand that Pro-Internships, llc does not guarantee that internship positions are paid. Pro-Internships, llc will not limit its search to only paid positions and by signing the Internship Agreement between me and the host company I agree to the specified stipend amount(s), if any.

4. I understand that Pro-Internhsips, llc reserves the right to reject any applications that make a successful program unlikely including, but not limited to, fraud, falsification of documents, dishonesty, willfully omitting important information, or any other reason as determined by Pro-Internships.

J-1 Visa Service

1. I understand that, unless otherwise specifically agreed upon in writing, Pro-Internhsips, llc my J-1 visa, including the DS-2019 form, will be arranged by a Designated Sponsor Organization for assistance in obtaining the J-1 visa needed for my entry into the U.S.

2. I agree to allow Pro-Internships, llc to forward my application and all relevant documents to the partner Designated Sponsor Organization for use as part of my J-1 visa application.

Internship Program Host Company Reassignment

1. Pro-Internships, llc will only facilitate the reassignment of a participant to a new company/internship position in the following situations or events:

a) In the event of substantiated complaint(s) against the host company relating to inappropriate treatment, lack of fulfillment of internship obligations, or broken contract.

b) In the event that the host company has asked the participant to break any U.S. local, state, or federal laws.

c) In a situation in which all reasonable mediation efforts by Pro-Internships, Inc and its staff members have failed to resolve serious issues between the participant and host company.

2. Pro-Internships, llc will not facilitate the reassignment of a participant to a new host company in the following circumstances:

a) In the event that the participant has broken any U.S. local, state, or federal laws.

b) In the event that the participant has a personal complaint or issue with any person(s) at the host company not relating to the company or business.

c) In the event that the participant has broken host company rules or regulations, broken the Internship Agreement, or has abused his/her position at the host company.

Internship Program Insurance Coverage

1. I understand that I am required to have full insurance coverage against accident, sickness, disability and death for the duration of my internship in the United States.

2. I understand that I am financially responsible for providing insurance coverage for myself and that insurance coverage is not included in Pro-Internships' program cost.

3. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that I understand the details of my health insurance policy and that any and all medical treatment received in the United States during my internship is solely at my expense.

Withdrawal from the Internship Program

1. I understand that I have the right to cancel my application at no cost to me (except $95 USD bank transaction fee) within one week of the date I have signed the Program Registration Form and any payments I have made to Pro-Internships within that time will be refunded.

2. I agree to pay 25% of the total program fees upon receipt of an invoice from Pro-Internships and that this amount is refundable in accordance with point 1 above. I agree to pay the remaining program fees at the time my internship placement is confirmed and upon receipt of the final invoice from Pro-Internships.

3. I agree to Pro-Internships' Fee and Refund Policy as follows:

• A full refund, minus a $95 USD application fee, will be granted if Pro-Internships is unsuccessful in securing an internship placement.

• A full refund, minus a 25% placement processing fee, will be granted if I cancel my application at any time before the internship contract is signed.

• No refund will be granted if I am confirmed for an internship and choose not to participate in the program after the internship contract is signed.

• A full refund, minus $300 non-refundable placement processing fee, will be granted if the following conditions are met: 1) A sponsor Organization has approved sponsorship for the applicant; 2) the applicant is denied the J-1 Visa by a U.S. consulate or embassy with jurisdiction over the applicant’s place of permanent residence; 3) the applicant has not violated U.S. law and/or visa regulations; 4) Sponsor Organization receives the original DS-2019 Form that was issued to the applicant; 5) the refund request is received no more than 2 months after the scheduled beginning of the J-1 training/internship program. [Additional site visit fees, if applicable, are nonrefundable]

4. I agree to pay the full program fees in the event of voluntary or involuntary withdrawal from the program after my acceptance of an internship position and signing of the Internship Agreement, in accordance with Pro-Internships' Fee and Refund Policy in #3above.

5. I agree to abide by the terms of my financial obligations in accordance with the Fee and Refund Policy in #3 above and that I, my parent(s), guardians and/or next of kin shall not assert claim or hold Pro-Internships, llc, its employees, officers, or agents responsible for any cost or losses resulting from such events.

6. I understand that if I cancel or withdrawal from the program that I must notify Pro-Internships, llc in writing immediately.

Volunteer Programs

Financial Obligations

2. I agree to pay a 100% payment of the total program fees upon receipt of invoice before Pro-Internships, llc will secure my program placement.

3. I agree to pay any and all remaining fees upon confirmation of my internship and receipt of the final invoice from Pro-Internships, llc.

4. I agree to discharge all indebtedness or obligations before departure, or at any other specified date according to any prior written and signed arrangements made with Pro-Internships, llc.

Volunteer Program Placement Information

1. I understand that no reassignment to a new host company or change in preferences will be made once I have confirmed acceptance of a program by signing the Agreement between myself and the host company.

2. I understand that I am responsible to ensure that the preferences and information I have provided on the Program Registration Form are true and accurate to the best of my knowledge (Note: Volunteers with disabilities, allergies, or medical conditions must disclose this information on their registration form to ensure the project they select is appropriate and able to accommodate them).

3. I understand that volunteer positions offered by Pro-Internships are unpaid.

4. I understand that Pro-Internships, llc reserves the right to reject any applications that make a successful program unlikely including, but not limited to, fraud, falsification of documents, dishonesty, willfully omitting important information, or any other reason as determined by Pro-Internships.

Volunteer Program Visa Service

1. I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain any visas which may be necessary for this travel. Please refer to the US Embassy in your country in order to get information regarding visa requirements for travel.

2. I agree to allow Pro-Internships, llc to collect my application and all relevant documents for use as part of my visa application.

Volunteer Project Information

1. Projects arise from a community-based need. Volunteers should be prepared to work an average of about 6 hours a day.

2. I understand that living conditions are communal and basic. Volunteers will live and work together with others from different countries and should be prepared to contribute to cooking, cleaning, and other daily activities.

3. I understand that, on occasion, a project may be cancelled or the project content can be changed on relatively short notice. In such cases every effort will be made to accommodate previously accepted volunteers in an alternative project. When you register, you are assuming such a risk and agree to be flexible if and when such a situation arises.

4. I understand that Pro-Internships and our international partners reserve the right to terminate a volunteer placement if deemed necessary. Reasons for refusal or termination include, but are not limited to: illegal activities, dangerous behavior, offensive behavior, or not participating in the work. In the event that the placement is terminated, you are required to leave the project location immediately without a refund.

Volunteer Program Insurance Coverage

I agree to pay the remaining fees at the time my internship placement is confirmed and upon receipt of the final invoice from Pro-Internships.

3. I agree to Pro-Internships' Fee and Refund Policy as follows:

• A full refund, minus a 25% placement processing fee, will be granted if I cancel my application at any time before the contract is signed.

• No refund will be granted if I am confirmed for a volunteer program and choose not to participate in the program after the contract is signed.

4. I agree to pay the full program fees in the event of voluntary or involuntary withdrawal from the program after my acceptance of an volunteer program and signing of the Volunteer Program Agreement, in accordance with Pro-Internships' Fee and Refund Policy in #3above.

5. I agree to abide by the terms of my financial obligations in accordance with Pro-Internships’ Fee and Refund Policy in #3 above and that I, my parent(s), guardians and/or next of kin shall not assert claim or hold Pro-Internships, Inc., its employees, officers, or agents responsible for any cost or losses resulting from such events.

6. I understand that if I cancel or withdrawal from the program that I must notify Pro-Internships, llc in writing immediately.
